Since joining the Maven team in April of 2021, Saundra (Sandie) has demonstrated what it means to be people-driven. As a Senior Technical Recruiter, her passion to build a strong network of professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience has supported the exponential growth of Maven.
We spent a few minutes with Sandie to learn more about her career move to Maven, what being on the Maven team means, and her personal and professional motivation.

What motivated you to join the Maven team?
I was inspired by the opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic environment that allows me the opportunity for professional and personal growth, joining a team that has the same excitement and passion that I have, great company culture and they share one of my personal philosophies – giving back to the community. Not only are my professional skills valued but my personal philosophies are as well.
What’s the best thing about your role day-to-day?
Connecting people and working for a company that lets you know without a doubt that what you do matters, that you have a voice that is listened to and heard, that YOU matter, and your growth matters. That has been the most refreshing and exhilarating feeling.
What’s the most memorable experience you’ve had at Maven?
The guidance and support demonstrated by my CEO, Suresh Rachuri, our recruiting team, and our leadership team. I have felt welcomed, appreciated, and motivated to do my best work. As a company, we invest in each other because we win or lose as a team. I love this about Maven.
Joining Maven has been the best decision for me both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, what are you passionate about?
My biggest passion is my family. I am very close to them, and much like the team at Maven, we all help each other regularly. I love spending time with my fur baby, Hendrix, giving back to my community in various ways (coaching, buying holiday dinners for families in need, buying gifts for seniors without family, and Toys for Tots). I enjoy home renovations, crafting, hiking, traveling, and finding new life experiences in my free time.
