Meet Our Team

Suresh Rachuri for maven in Columbus

Suresh began his career in software development. During a slow work week, Suresh took on a side project to help with recruiting for the company and instantly fell in love with the work. The gratification he felt from his first placement was the pinnacle of his career, and he decided he would follow his calling to pursue recruitment.

Over the last 15 years, Suresh worked as an IT recruiter with a wide range of businesses and helped launch others like Alliance Technology and Halcyon Solutions. As he gained practical knowledge of how businesses operate when recruiting, Suresh moved to independent recruiting and consultation to broaden his skillset. He worked with organizations like Battelle, JP Morgan Chase, and Cardinal Health to help with their talent needs. During his 4 years of consulting, Suresh realized there was so much he could do to improve the way companies hire, and he began planning for what would become maven.

He understood the industry was lacking in genuine connection between employer and employee, and so many incredible candidates weren’t being paired with the right jobs. In the Spring of 2016, Suresh set out to solve this problem and invested in maven full time. Emphasizing behavior-based evaluations and a rich network of recruiters, Suresh changed the way his clients thought about recruiting and has made a career out of finding qualified, quality candidates for every situation. In recent years, maven has branched out from just IT into Creative recruiting as well, but regardless of the job, client, or role being filled, Suresh takes great pride in the service of those around him.

Peggy wells of maven in Columbus

An experienced recruiter for the past 5 years, Peggy worked with Fortune 500 companies including Nationwide Insurance, BNY Mellon, Google, Facebook, JP Morgan Chase, AEP, and others. Her dedication to recruiting started early in her career when she made 60+ calls per day to find the top candidates.

Peggy is a welcome member of the maven team as IT delivery manager. She focuses on core deliverables and dives deep into the primary targets of her clients. As a valued member of the team, she is used to filling 25 staff aug positions per year.

Peggy is honored to be with maven and her goals are to expand maven’s reach to be a top IT staffing player in the region through local outreach.

In her spare time, Peggy is an avid tennis and runner of 5k’s. She is also a caring mother to her son, Cory.

As a project manager, Tessa organizes a skilled technical team focusing on client implementations for maven.  Managing client-side service on the business end is her specialty. Her prior work was data analysis for a printing and consulting firm supporting the business side using trend analysis.

Tessa is also an artist who loves painting and graphics work in her spare time as well as being an illustrator of children’s books.

Michelle Egan - IT Recruiter at maven

Michelle has been a solid IT recruiter for four years focusing on networking events and new technologies. Working in IT is a core strength, Michelle was a top performer at her previous company and now brings that strength to maven.

Seeing growth and opportunity working downtown in the vibrant Columbus community, Egan sees great potential working with maven. Her goals include meeting demand, bringing in new accounts, and utilizing everything given to her to help maven grow. Linkedin and networking groups are a core focus for Egan as well so stay tuned for more.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys going hiking, visiting local parks, coaching basketball for Worthington Rec League, and spending time with her son and daughter.
