Suresh began his career in software development. During a slow work week, Suresh took on a side project to help with recruiting for the company and instantly fell in love with the work. The gratification he felt from his first placement was the pinnacle of his career, and he decided he would follow his calling to pursue recruitment.
Over the last 15 years, Suresh worked as an IT recruiter with a wide range of businesses and helped launch others like Alliance Technology and Halcyon Solutions. As he gained practical knowledge of how businesses operate when recruiting, Suresh moved to independent recruiting and consultation to broaden his skillset. He worked with organizations like Battelle, JP Morgan Chase, and Cardinal Health to help with their talent needs. During his 4 years of consulting, Suresh realized there was so much he could do to improve the way companies hire, and he began planning for what would become maven.
He understood the industry was lacking in genuine connection between employer and employee, and so many incredible candidates weren’t being paired with the right jobs. In the Spring of 2016, Suresh set out to solve this problem and invested in maven full time. Emphasizing behavior-based evaluations and a rich network of recruiters, Suresh changed the way his clients thought about recruiting and has made a career out of finding qualified, quality candidates for every situation. In recent years, maven has branched out from just IT into Creative recruiting as well, but regardless of the job, client, or role being filled, Suresh takes great pride in the service of those around him.
