Partner ship between city of Columbus, the state and federal dept of transportation for smart city initiative. Open platform from City of Columbus to make us a smart city when it comes to transportation, logistics, finding transportation as well as a platform for the city by making our transportation smarter through urban planning and development.
They had a hard time finding a true systems/enterprise architect who could be a technical resource but also has strong functional resources that could come in and write out a process and implement that process for them from an enterprise architecture standpoint. Also, needed to be a top resource when it comes to partnering with the dept of transportation and parnters with the city for the smart city intiative. This position required a strong tech skill, AWS, cloud engineering, and a slew of requirements as well as strong communication and get stakeholders across the finish line. Many people will say that they can do it but few that maven could stake their reputation on.
maven was able to fill that position in a couple of weeks and that person is currently a consultant on behalf of the state of Ohio and maven for the Smart City initiative. We are coming on 12 months with this candidate and they are looking to extend them. So things are working well.
